Major update to picplz - new iPhone, Android & website versions

We are happy to announce the largest product launch that we have done so far at picplz.

We have simultaneously released major revisions of our iPhone app, Android app & website!

New photo effects/filters for both iPhone and Android:

  • You can now apply visual styles to your pictures, right in the app.
  • Our current filter pack includes the “Instant Film” effect, “Russian Toy Camera”, “The 70s” & “High Contrast Monochrome” & more
  • Our app and filters are 100% free
  • Our filters are unique because they are non-destructive to your image.
  • We always keep a copy of the original pic so that if you decide you change your mind and don’t want the filter, or want to apply a different filter, no problem!
  • If we come up with new and better filters at some point, you can always apply them at that future date.
  • Our filters are crossplatform, so that the exactly same filters apply to both iPhone & Android.
  • Our filters output big, beautiful images, including a large size 1024x960

iPhone specific features & Screenshots

  • Implemented in-app browsing to view your picplz feeds & social experience
  • Faster upload speeds for your pics
  • Push notifications that let you know when people follow you, comment on your pics, and more
  • New image upload quality settings
